Our business focuses on precision mechatronics, initially through micro- and nanopositioning systems, and subsequently by expanding our expertise into optomechanics, embedded actuators and robotics.
Today, we serve a wide range of markets: aerospace, defence, science & medtech, rail and industrial processes.
Our history
Bazet (65) - 1997
Two years after ISP System was founded, the three founders—Paul Sauvageot, Corinne Sauvageot and Franck Sauvageot—moved into the company’s first premises, complete with a workshop, in Bazet. We started out with a team of 10 employees, comprising engineers and technicians.
Vic-en-Bigorre (65) - 2003
The company is expanding: more and more customers are placing their trust in us. To meet demand, we are building larger premises that are perfectly suited to our business: design offices, an assembly hall (>800m²), two cleanrooms (ISO 5 to ISO 7), laboratories, ESD-compliant assembly rooms, etc.
Pessac (33) - 2021
We are setting up our second site (ISP Aquitaine), which will become the company’s headquarters in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The ISP System Group is born! The teams at ISP Aquitaine design test and control systems and develop expertise in robot programming.

We have been working with the nuclear industry for many years.

Our team of electronics engineers designs circuit boards that can be fitted into racks or more compact spaces, such as embedded systems.
They are constantly taking on new challenges, involving precise control and space optimisation.

From deformable mirrors to photonic assembly machines, we have a solid foundation of expertise in the field of photonics. Our R&D projects are driving us towards new challenges and the pursuit of ever more innovative solutions.

We design, manufacture and wire our machines, actuators, mirrors and so on. That is why we are best placed to carry out their maintenance.

Our accreditations
ISO 9001
Since 2006, ISP System and the ISP Group have had an ISO 9001-certified quality management system in place for all their activities. In 2011, the quality management systems of ISP System and the Group are currently certified.
UL
The CPT SM 3543 pR module and its production line are certified to: UL 60601, 1st Edition (Medical Electrical Equipment) and CAN/CSA-C22.2 (Medical Electrical Equipment).
EN 9100
ISP System has been EN 9100 certified since 10 July 2015 for its quality management system covering its activities in the aerospace, defence and space sectors. Certification ongoing.
CSR
The ISP Group remains committed to a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach that takes into account the company’s social and environmental impacts, with a view to embedding sustainable development considerations within its organisation, its projects and its stakeholder relationships.
LABELS PME CNES
The CNES certification committee has awarded ISP System three SME Labels, valid for three years, for: high-precision space actuators, stratospheric and tropospheric balloon mechanisms, and space deformable mirrors
